The Autumn meeting and AGM of The Combustion Institute (British Section) will be held on Tuesday 6th September 2011 at the School of Process, Environmental and Materials Engineering (SPEME), Engineering Building, University of Leeds, Leeds, LS2 9JT. The organisers are: Alan Williams (A.Williams@leeds.ac.uk) and Kevin Hughes, (K.J.Hughes@leeds.ac.uk). The AGM for the Combustion Institute will also take place during the meeting, and all members are encouraged to attend. A poster session will be held during the meeting and an award made to the best contribution. Poster abstracts should be emailed to the organisers by the 26th of August.
For a map of the location of the Engineering Building (No. 48) and for car parking facilities, please consult this map, the appropriate entrance to the Engineering building is the main entrance located on Clarendon Road approximately 30 yards from the junction with Woodhouse Lane. There is virtually no free parking in the vicinity of the Engineering building, surrounding roads are mostly “pay and display”, or for a £5 fee there is limited space in the University Visitor car park (main entrance), or there is a multistorey
car park approximately 0.5 miles south of the Engineering Building, adjacent to the inner ring road.
The following registration fees are payable (it covers the cost of the meeting, lunch and refreshments)
