Graham Dixon-Lewis, F.R.S.
It is with great sadness that I must let you know that Graham died suddenly on August 5th 2010 , aged 88. His funeral service will be held on Friday, 13th August at 11 a.m. at St Edmund’s Church, Lidgett Park Road , Leeds LS8 1JN
In 1990 Graham was awarded both the Egerton Gold Medal and the Silver Medal of The Combustion Institute. Because of his outstanding and innovative work, he was the recipient of other international awards. Not only was he one of our most distinguished members, he proved to be the gentlest, kindest, most helpful, cheerful and humorous. He will be sorely missed by the Combustion community. Our deepest sympathy goes to Pat, his wife, and the rest of his family.
